Son, people would be vomiting in theaters if they saw actual raw guts and severed limbs from live action DC characters. It would eve have politicians having Congressional meetings on violence in R Rated films of that scale and high budget. It would make 300 look like a TV show. Imagine that image of Henry Cavill and Jason Mamoa going through that violence and torture and Teen Titan characters getting gored and eaten by ParasDooms.

But they couldn’t do it because Marvel did it first

The arc was going to take over three Justice league films and would’ve been glorious but now every other year a different movie is dead or revived

Maybe the pandemic can make them properly reorganized their schedule. But I do know that the MCU is struggling to get anything new done and pushing back their film 6 to 9 months behind schedule.

I need them to start dropping animated films from this universe once every 3-4 months..... when they first started this after Flashpoint Paradox it took me a min to get use to this universe but these last few releases have been ill especially this one

Marvel wanted an animated film like the Punisher that was R-Rated based on the MAX line of books. DC just went all in and never looked back since that film "Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay".

Warner Bros needs to put there fukking money behind the DC animated universe and get these movies bigger budgets and into theaters. Look at the animated Spidey movie, shyt did crazy numbers and won awards - animation is getting more popular

The work is done already just adapt the stories, but the assclown executives cant get out of their own way
