Day 2 complete.

Initial concerns: the desire for something with "flavor" to it to accompany savory food (not a concern, more a minor inconvenience) and my head is aching a little bit. I don't know if its the mental toll of the day or the lack of caffeine/sugar-laden drinks. :ehh:

Regardless, I will not waver. On to day 3. Will have to stock up on water to last through the weekend (I don't trust the tap and for some reason don't care to just buy a filter). The office typically keeps bottled water on deck in the break room cooler, so I'm good there.

Alongside the gallon of water a day, Ive also cut out sweets, random snacks, and lowering my calorie intake. I'm trying to work some cardio and lifting but I'm out of shape so it's hard getting started. 4 days in and it's been interesting. I do feel a less sluggish then normal and my skin has improved. The weight is slowly coming off, but I feel the more working out I do, the better it will be. My vice is gonna be the weekends tho, how can I go out on the weekend without a drop of alcohol? :mjcry:

The weekends were my toughest days man. I just invited some p*ssy over and we chilled, went out and got breakfast, fukked, watched TV, brainstormed random ideas, talked about life, etc. It saved me a TON of money not going out. Crazy how much fukkin money I spend on eating out and drinking. Adds up ridiculous.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Already consume nothing but aqua.

During the week, it's not a single droplet of alcohol/spirits.

I do like to drink on Saturdays to keep up with some old friends, so comrarderie is an important facto in my existence.

Kudos to y'all that are on the water bid and eliminated the drinking.

Gonna put my own spin on it and perhaps do without sugar.

What do you fellas think?

Cut the sugar and 100 pushups a day (recommended by another breh earlier in the thread)

Inspired by this thread and the bolded is the last part I'm trying to figure out before I start this water challenge up.

Going out to eat and desserts are my biggest vices, aside from smokin weed.

My plan of action is get in that gallon a day (I mainly only drink water anyway so no soda or juice, etc. isn't a problem), cut out sweets and limit my calorie intake during the week and treat weekends like I normally would and enjoy myself, but try and scale back and not OD like I tend to do with overeating.

I've also been incorporating 30-40 min workouts a few days a week the past few weeks so I need to bump that up a bit more and kick in more cardio (more mountain climbers, add burpees, etc.)

Since New Years I've been semi-trying to get back in better shape but this thread struck a chord breh, so props to you on your journey and much appreciated for the motivation.

I got a 64oz container, you can get it cheap at the dollar store, its always in my fridge with cold water, shyt is godly:ahh:

Also been doing pushups and situps every morning. Cut out bread, rice out my diet. Morning breakfast been nothing but oatmeal, for snacks I got a healthy trail mix with dried fruits and almonds.

I'm working on getting a pair of dumbells to further my at-home pre-workouts before I hit the gym.

Stay with it brehs :salute:
