Just Completed 30 Days, No Alcohol, Gallon of Water a Day challenge AMA

Inspired by this thread and the bolded is the last part I'm trying to figure out before I start this water challenge up.

Going out to eat and desserts are my biggest vices, aside from smokin weed.

My plan of action is get in that gallon a day (I mainly only drink water anyway so no soda or juice, etc. isn't a problem), cut out sweets and limit my calorie intake during the week and treat weekends like I normally would and enjoy myself, but try and scale back and not OD like I tend to do with overeating.

I've also been incorporating 30-40 min workouts a few days a week the past few weeks so I need to bump that up a bit more and kick in more cardio (more mountain climbers, add burpees, etc.)

Since New Years I've been semi-trying to get back in better shape but this thread struck a chord breh, so props to you on your journey and much appreciated for the motivation.

what brand of alkaline yall drinking? some of these brands are falsely advertised bullshyt:francis:/its hard to find legit liquid

help a breh out, drinking bad water is a no no/can cause damage as well.

Any minor headaches man? I started on Monday, and noticed on Wednesday that I've had what feels like a very minor headache. Almost like right behind the eye. I read it could be due to low sodium. It's not even what I'd classify as a headache. Like a brief irritation.


It's probably your body adjusting to more water intake or adjusting to whatever you've cut-out of your diet. Should only last a day or two then clear sailing.

I'm day 5 on drinking 3x 1Litre water bottles a day (I dunno wtf a gallon is anymore)..

Ive also been watching a heap of Mike Tyson YouTube vids and that motivated me to get back into boxing.. I've made up my own 12 round routine I can do at home. and there is a boxing gym 850 metres from my apartment :blessed:

I've also cut out all sugar, alcohol, porn, gambling, weed and fast food.

as I said, I'm only day 5.. it's hard being sober but I know it's gotta be done for the long run. I've abused my body so much in the past 10 years smh. I think I've already lost at least 5 pounds, it's wild... the sauna helps too, I've been hitting that everyday tryna sweat out all the water weight, toxins and weed in my system.

and to that earlier breh, I was also getting those day 3 headaches.. dunno why tho lmao

Aww shyt you about to be superman in a minute, the headaches come with the territory but they'll go away. The body is a self healing vehicle if you take care of it. Major salute for joining the squad and motivating others to start as well. Keep posting your progress

I got a 64oz container, you can get it cheap at the dollar store, its always in my fridge with cold water, shyt is godly:ahh:

Also been doing pushups and situps every morning. Cut out bread, rice out my diet. Morning breakfast been nothing but oatmeal, for snacks I got a healthy trail mix with dried fruits and almonds.

I'm working on getting a pair of dumbells to further my at-home pre-workouts before I hit the gym.
