His track record is lousy because he's close enough to Philadelphia sports to get crumbs of information but not really plugged in anywhere. He was the first person to break the Kellen Moore news because he heard they had good interviews and were negotiating, a few hours later the big boys like Schefter confirmed. There's also been a bunch of times where he's heard something and it was completely wrong, that's how it is with crumbs.
His stance on Lurie and Beli has been the same for years though, he's said Lurie still feels a way about spygate and how it involved the 2004 Super Bowl. It's possible because a lot of people that were caught in that web still feel bitter, Panthers old GM and Marshall Faulk have both been vocal about how they'll never get over that.
