As we know, there's nothing wrong with strong women, we love them, plenty of successful IP's with strong women. How do you know he didn't do that? At the end of the day the actor has to go along with the script and all of them signed on before the scripts for all 3 movies were out. Mark Hamill didn't like anything about Luke in the sequels but he filmed his parts. He told Rian Johnson and Abrams he didn't like it and they still didn't budge. And he's Star Wars Michael Jordan.
