The fundamental question is, why does the leadership of the Democratic party refuse to try to improve anything? Their steadfast belief is that things cannot get better, they can only stay the same or be worsened by the Republicans. Why is this? Every other major country has some type of universal healthcare. The idea that it can't be done is simply false.
