It's not my job to convince you about your future. You got idiots like @FreshFromATL and @Napoleon saying STEM majors will save you without any lack of ownership and anyone that believes them can be in the homeless line 20 years from now :lolbron:

Don't worry about me... just know I'm setting myself up to own multiple revenue streams :mjpls:

@Poitier, its not about eating "forever"

its about gaining the tools to do so.

STEM does that in ways few other fields do.

Period.

Working for a bit and getting acclimated to what it takes to venture on your own is one of the smartest, and proven methods of getting ahead.

How can it have happened if it's a projection :mindblown:

Them nikkas in the factories back in 1950 thought they had jobs until they could hit retirement too :banderas:

Goddamn you're an idiot.

1. not everyone who works will start businesses. Its just rare in itself

2. not all skills are created equally

3. you're talking about a decade thats 60+ years ago :what:

4. you keep leaning on this "projection" as if its a valid argument, when its more of an escape valve for your poorly formed arguments

5. Those with hard skills will always be more employable than those without.

Let me guess. You're a renaissance man that will never be out of work, right? :troll:

1. They better learn.

2. Strawman?

3. No, I used production as an example. The 15-20 projection was for the future.

4. Automation is already occurring and ramping up.. There is tons of empirical data.

5. And those will be robots who don't have a percent of the needs that a human does.

1st Round Playoff Exits
i would say im more of a "follow your passion" school of thought, im very :patrice: about the notion of pushing people into STEM majors or any major

i think we definitely need more black STEM majors but i think the real issue to focus on is high school and elementary, i think if you fix and focus on that, other problems fix themselves including lack of black stem majors

right now as we speak there are black people dropping out of high school, lets get the basics down first
Can't emphasis this enough....

1. and STEM is the best tool to learn through

2. its not a strawman. Knowing how to type 50 wpm is not the same as knowing calc 3 like the back of your hand

3. Doesn't matter. Folks who had skills always found employment.

4. in SOME fields, not all. This is still a red herring by you.

5. Not all skills can be automated. Keep believeing that lie if you want.

1. I'm still waiting on empirical evidence. I know people from all walks of life who own businesses and don't come from a STEM background.

2. Who argued that?

3. All employment aint good employment.

4. It's not a red herring. AI and robotics is in it's infancy. Me saying that automation will continue to trend upward is a MUCH SMARTER bet than you assuming it's only going to effect basic labor.

5. Not right now they aren't but you're the materialist so it's kind of funny. I do agree that things you shyt on like entertainment and the arts can't be automated. Oh the irony.

none of which are limited to only that as business enterprises :mjlol:

Sure but Blacks don't even have that... it's a start

I'd like to see more minorities going into technical fields, but I really don't see how this will change anything.
yeah but a conspiracy by ppl in the govt and "corporations" made sure a lot of black fathers were incarcerated leaving black youth directionless..
