After "Nobody's Smiling" and the skeletal production on that Vince Staples album I thought No I.D was done.. but it boils down to sample clearance and budgets I guess.

After drakes last album I realized how much the hoops that rappers have to go through for samples hurt the game. A key success to his albums is he has alot of samples. He samples stuff world wide and even brand new. It dawned on me that samples are a huge boon for rappers that most rappers can't even afford or have the connect to get cleared.
