Played this back last week and its still as good as ever. Man its been a minute since we got a Hov album. As competitive as he is you would hope Nas' run has him inspired in some way.

will def get an album sooner than later. I’ll be interested in his approach and what producers he chooses to lock in with.

No artist has been through more growth as an MC than Jay-Z. I was listening to his early stuff accidentally, then purposely and ended up here. This is his real Black Album. I know it sounds odd to compare that album to this but this feels way more like a retirement album than that one.

I feel bad for skimming through and disregarding the album before, it had to grow on me...or I had to grow up some more first to appreciate it. This album wasn't for everyone. It was for Jigga to vent on some old man on the stoop spitting out wisdom shyt.
