Do you understand by not having to carry the load on offense and playing in an actual system would have extended kidd's prime. By 08 Kidd's role would have changed and he would habe developed his shot earlier and been better defensively.

Kidd never carried the offensive load. He literally could not be a #1 or even #2 option. That's why every team he was a main cog in could not even approach a top 10 offense any year of his career.

Once he had to play half court basketball he was badly exposed. Every single year he got destroyed once teams killed his fast break offense.
