Kid was drafted in 1994. CP3 is 9 years younger

Jason Kidd came in the league 1994. He was 15 SEASONS deep by 2008. How many elite defenders are there in their 15th season?

But he did play elite defense in 2011 when they beat the Heat.

What about when Avery Johnson completely destroyed a mid-20s Kidd in '98 (one of the most one-sided matchups you'll see)?
What about when Mighty Mouse outplayed a mid-20s Kidd in '99?
What about all the other times the opposing PG outplayed him in the playoffs when he was in Phoenix?

This is supposed to be one of the GOAT PGs, and yet he couldn't even outplay league-average point guards in the postseason.
