Look at those names. Young and Inexperienced, just like I said. The end result? Jason Kidd made them seem better than they were.

K-Mart was a nonfactor at Denver, with no real PG to set him up, he couldn't create his own shot. He was tailor made to play alongside Kidd.

RJ was a Rookie or in his 2nd Season, but he wasn't seen as some Gamechanger or potential All-Star either.

Keith Van Horne - known for the Tim Thomas Trade

Kittles - Kidd took away his pressure to having to perform.

Look at the Season before, you think a Lucious Harris lead team is going to be vying for Playoff Contention :mjlol:

They would have been better off with old man Sam Cassell.

I mixed the game up with another one. My mistake... but Sonned? The Nets were up 3 Games to 2 that Series, but the Pistons turned the heat up Defensively on them even more the last Two Games. They were the better team that year, and went on to embarrass the Lakers in the Finals.

And you throwing out Rodney Rodgers name like he was a 2nd or 3rd Option :stopitslime:
Because K Mart and Keith Van Horn were injured, Stephon Marbury only played a total of 16 games with them and Kittles in the lineup.

The following year when Jason Kidd joined the team, he played a total of 66 games with them in the lineup. So it had a lot to do with those players named being healthy regardless of your lazy labeling of those players

Yes he did. I'm sure if he played next to a Top 3 PF and almost exclusively scored in full court settings Kidd would too.
No he wouldn’t cause he wasn’t as a good a shooter. Kid next to Dirk wasn’t a great half court player either.

Nash never played defense his whole career. :heh:
So what’s his excuse forgetting shytted on the previous years :mjlol:

So he was good enough to play defense in 2011 but not 2008:heh:

:heh: At kids defense being the reason they won that chip.

Jason Kidd was one of the best point guards in the mid 90’s, even during his days in the suns and got even better on the Nets. He won a championship at the end of his career which was a good way to end his basketball career.

He clearly wasn’t the same athletically as he was in his prime and watching him showed it. Had he got prime Vince in 01-03 it’s be different but some players peak early.
He was just as productive based on developing his skills outside of jumping over people.

08 Kobe wasn't 03 Kobe athletically but nobody is saying that isn't prime Kobe.

13 Melo is 09 Melo physically.

Same applies.

None of those players had any where near the same success they had with Kidd, without him. These are the facts.

Marbury was a good player but his play style was detrimental to the Nets. They had a lot more success with Sam Cassell prior.

Yall gotta stop creating these False Narratives when it comes to players yall don't like.

Marbury held the Nets back by stopping Jamie Feick, Evan Eschmeyer, and Luscious Harris from reaching their potential.
