How should he know?
i dont care if you guys shyt on me, but when i ask you what law you propose to fix this issue and your reaction is just shytting on me in defense that's just a poor showing
it's so demonic, friend
i wish there was some way to create a law with weighted minimum wages for profits declared by companies, but i dont have much hope for it. i think bernie's trying it with amazonHave large corporations pay employees enough so they're not in the situation that this woman is in and or on public assistance.
Increase urban density and public transportation.
Address student debt
A lot of people are bringing up access to affordable housing so I think it's time for the government to build housing to address scarcity and again invest in infrastructure...
Find ways to make mortgages accessible again
National health care would deal with a lot of debt and expense that people have as well
There are your fixes

The red line shows the actual minimum wage adjusted to 2017 dollars.
The light blue line starts with 1968 — the year the current value of the federal minimum wage peaked at $9.90, adjusted to 2017 dollars — and shows what minimum wage would be had it kept up with the average wage growth. Had the minimum been adjusted for average growth, today's minimum wage would be $11.62.
And the dark blue line shows the federal minimum wage had it grown at the same rate as American productivity, reaching $19.33 this year, more than double what it actually is.
oh i wasnt aware i was elected dictator last night. not to mention that i agreed with the most glaring pointjust gave you a list of things that could be done but you chose to ignore it
there;s only one politician pushing thisBusinesses making $0.5B or more in revenue should be paying their workers a minimum of $19.33/hr. Under $0.5B, a minimum of $11.62/hr. These are 2017 numbers.
They can pass a law saying that @the cac mamba
The kid is 6, how the hell you know what the situation was 7 years ago?this was embarrassing, on her part. who the fukk told her to have a kid when the 16 dollar an hour job she has isn't enough to provide on it? how is that the fault of the bank?
i get what she was going for, but to frame it that way where the bank is on the hook for her personal choices
Because in any sort of morally justifiable economy, the life and welfare of the employees IS the concern of the employer. How should he know?
People with unskilled work who are "cozy" are the ones who are able to take classes, gain skills, improve themselves, and most of all get their kids a decent education with a safety net at home so their kids can become skilled workers. All these vacant skilled jobs and you are suggesting we make being unskilled cozy
Progressive...

Skilled or unskilled, these are probably the guys who will be against a reasonable universal allowance when AI takes over most unskilled roles.People with unskilled work who are "cozy" are the ones who are able to take classes, gain skills, improve themselves, and most of all get their kids a decent education with a safety net at home so their kids can become skilled workers.
Forcing unskilled workers to live hand-to-mouth is EXACTLY how you prevent a larger skilled workforce from developing.
