People in Atlanta would kill to make $16 an hour. As far the topic money is not the issue since that company is paying well beyond minimum wage Its not the employers fault that the single woman has a kid and wants to live in a more expensive housing unit. The single woman either needs to apply for a better role in the company or bounce and find a better paying gig. I can understand if this argument was for Burger king or a retail store( we all know those gigs do not pay at all).

In a perfect USA this is true, but unfortunately most people pay checks go toward their housing.
That must change. All that disposable income going to housing that is artifically expensive

jsut to reiterate: the premise of the thread is stupid because singling out ONE COMPANY who pays about 1.5 min wage is stupid and not accomplishing anything
