I knew people in high school working at local bank branches...A single mother (usually if you have kids isn't on your interview and I think its even illegal to ask) working that entry level job is going to usually find it hard to sustain herself with that.

There’s definitely a discussion to have on how to address the issues that could derail a single mom (or anyone else if we expand it) and I could see looking at other options than coming at JP directly as viable worth discussing (I know these aren’t on your agenda but childcare programs and universal healthcare would help a lot imo). But I’m just not a fan of that premise of “she lacks drive” without knowing the circumstances. I’ve seen incredible women on their grind and a car crash sets them back what feels like years after expenses, getting healthy and trying to get back to where they were for example.

The article mentioned she left a better situation chasing what would become a "failed relationship"... She then left living with fam to live in the apartment she seemingly cant afford.
I just feel JP already paying her over the proposed "living wage" shouldn't be in the hot seat for where her life is at...

It's simply astonishing, the extent of the greed of people like Dimon. I have my own issues with it, and I suppose at some level it's all relative, but Dimon is like the embodiment of that GIF with Scrooge tossing a coin, except Dimon would toss nothing, maybe an Ayn Rand quote, and I would give at least a dollar, and feel guilty to have so much money in my pocket, while this man has nothing.
