It's pandering because a 30 second scene features popular music?
fans of the show should at least admit it is boring to a degree...the dialogue aint great and there is a lot of sitting/standing around and talking on the show...and as far as character progression breaking bad isnt comparable to something like oz...breaking bad is a great tv drama but not a great tv show...
that's a simple way of putting it; but, yes
that scene was just a few of the many examples of Gilligan pandering to his new audience.Your logic only makes sense if we ignore every other song featured on the show. You're saying a show that featured a traditional Mexican narcocorrido ballad as it's opening scene is pandering based on 30 seconds of a song you dislike.
Fred.
I thought OZ was boring
and that last statement makes no sense.
that scene was just a few of the many examples of Gilligan pandering to his new audience.
the entire first episode of the last season was a huge plate of roasted pander bear
The show didn't have a "new audience" when they were writing season 5.
That scene is supposed to be a parady/satire of all of the "cool" flashy music videos, movies, etc.. The overtly stylish camera shots, the loud over the top music, and a nerdy 50 year old man revving up the engine of his new car like a high school kid. The scene is genius and fits in showing how far Walt has strayed from his original plan.
Typical Breaking Bad stan nonsense:
embarassing
I'm on second episode of Season 2 and the shyt is
Depressing and shyt.
I didn't get bored at all watching other dramas like Sopranos, The Wire, West Wing etc... does this get better?
Right now Walt and his family are boring the fukk out of me and Jesse is a whiny bytch
