Give it another 20 years bruh and prices will go up even higher.....look at the prices of men's cologne from the 90's to now....and I have a top notch cologne collection....I drop a ridiculous amount sometimes.... :manny: ....

Man, you got me looking in that cabinet trying to find or look up some of these fragrances lmbo!

Not to derail @West Coast Avenger but which one or three you suggest? You have quite a collection...need some sexy scents for my lady to smell me lol (and anybody else I'm around too lol)

I remember those stone washed Girbauds were in style too. I’m ashamed of myself for having my parents paying that much for jeans.

Copped a pair when I was a teen in a spot called Atrium in NYC. Had 37 cents left to my name afterwards. :mjcry:

But I didn't care cuz I had my jeans:

This was gonna be my question. Everything has a peak. Has life peaked? Can life actually Peak?

Its because the majority of the board is blinded by nostalgia. They see everything through a rose tinted lens.

"Everything was better in my youth" old man yelling shyt.

Thats why if you go in the booth right now theres 10 threads of reasonable doubt on the first page.

The same goes for fashion here :lolbron:

What jeans was costing $1700, $1800 in the 90’s :mjlol: shyt is a lot now then it would be astronomical

Its not a good thing its cool fly in the 90’s was affordable

No all these brand they're naming were not affordable.

If you had a little bit of paper you'd shop at the square, Fordham, or 125. Thats when you had lil knot coming up.

We use to have to drive WAY up in the hoopdee to Woodbury commons to get discount outlet shyt 2 keep up.

All these throwback 90s urban brands these guys are naming were in premium stores like Macys.

If you were dripped up in that you were really making money moves or a spoiled kid :russ:

Both are horrible as of now

You're saying options are horrible but you're from LA. I'm from NYC. We were exposed/had access to a whole lot more than the rest of this country.

I use to have to visit family down south.

They dressed like shyt because they had NOWHERE to shop.

They literally had a mall and maybe a couple of shytty boutiques.

Its not like today where you can go online and order anything from anywhere.

You can also see online what the rest of the world is wearing.

Back then they went off magazines and movies/music videos.

And to continue on the options things.....those stores in the mall were VERY limited in urban brands.

Everyone was wearing the same shyt :russ:

Now there are so many fly independent or boutique companies it'd be impossible to name them all.

Everyone in this thread keeps citing the 10-15 companies of back then.

Everyone was on the same shyt cause that's all there was :dead:

You can start your own clothing line and manufactor and distribute it 100000X easier than back then.

This is why so many of these 90s legends today have zero drip.

Yall love clowning them for it 2.

The game 2 advanced now they cant hang.

Actually we didn’t
I don’t remember any stand alone stores in the Los Angeles
Unless it was on Rodeo or Robertson Blvd

You actually made me remember LA has been very segregated up until recently

You must have been a punk rocker. I'm from here. Nobody wore it on my side. It was a part of that weirdo "downtown scene"

That shyt popped with dipset in the 00s. You were way ahead of the curve I guess :manny:
