no other decade has seen so many spinoffs and sequals, no other decade gets marketed for nostalgia just just was my guy....

We got to see rap mature and become mainstream
we saw the birth of grunge
every genre was poppin from rock to pop
90's fashion is the most thifted and sought after with
90's sneakers are the most sought after for re-releases it was the golden era of kicks...
cartoons everyone refers to saturday morning cartoons it was the best era for that ...
Sitcoms peaked in the 90's
technology- it was the perfect blend of analog and digital we saw the tech boom but also analog things like vcr and developing film was still around as well as house phones.

what more do you want?

Aside from the topic of Rap the 90s isn’t fukking with the 80s friend.

Except when 90s kids say it, we mean it.. What album out right now is better than Reasonable Doubt? And if you find one, good luck beating the other 30894723904823 classic albums from that era

We are literally in the microwave, where most media has been destroyed by corporate suits who weren't even fans. Hell yea music and fashion was better

You can say it until your blue in the face; doesn't make it true.

I'm not gonna spin this into a music thread; but you're proving my point anyway :manny:

At All

You're just saying that with no argument, I laid out examples. I as born in 81' i remember both and 90's tops 80's. Most people in the 80's didnt even have cable tv. 90's had that blend of tech and old school stuff from 80's and before.

What exactly did the 80's beat the 90's. You can maybe say MJ and pop stars but MTV in the 90's made them tv stars not just radio stars.

I won't say the 90's all together...

More like 86-99. That's PEAK American culture:

Hip-Hop,
Jazz still relevant
Grunge popping off
Techno spreading worldwide
R&B at it's peak
Fashion was distinct and not biting off some previous era
Classic films all over the place plus enough popcorn films to keep you at the movies damn near every weekend
TV in it's golden era with the advent of cable
Radio still relevant
people went outside and club culture was thriving
the internet was an activity, not an ever present part of life
cost of living was affordable
women looked distinct and weren't botoxed to hell

I can go on and on.

...
The Hurricanes :wow:

We didn’t give AF what team we wore:russ: I was all about The Bulls, Hornets, and the GA Tech Yellow Jsckets. Miami and Georgetown were so fire to me even though I didn’t own none of their stuff. That was an era for real

i can agree to this ,,

I said 90s cause that era encompassed all of the 90's and only half the 80's so bar for bar 90's has the edge to me.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven

That didn’t actually prove anything. Both this music and corny ass fashion is watered down. That’s why they keep making a killing off retro gear. And where does that gear come from? The 90s
