The fashion, the music, the lingo, the events, the sports...it was just a great time
S/o to all the brehs who actually lived it
And to elaborate on the fashion...in Philly we wore polo, Tommy, Nautica, Eddie bauer, Jordan's, new balances, timbs, first down jackets, flight jackets, dikkies sets
The fashion was everything
I remember when Champion was not Walmart status but it was not far above it. It was good ass quality even back then. Just hella cheap and nobody rocked it like that
All that stuff is relative cheap to today. Today, folks paying $600 for a t shirt, $1000 for a hoodie, $1000 for one pair of kicks and $2000+ for a coat. All of those urban brands excluding Avirex/Pelle Pelle leathers, Coogi sweaters and Iceberg History were affordable. Back in the 90’s, it was $30 for a Phat Farm t shirt, $65 for some Maurice Malone jeans, $600 for an Avirex leather, $110 for some Jordans, $100 for some Timbs, $70 for some Forces. Flightposites were considered breaking the bank at $160.I don't know about that one bruh....Hilfiger, Nautica, Ralph Lauren, Sergio Taccini, FUBU, Mecca, Karl Kani....alot of the hip hop fashion took off in the 90's.....
What jeans was costing $1700, $1800 in the 90’s shyt is a lot now then it would be astronomicalYou weren't around in the 90's....just say that....at that time the clothing was expensive....
