and how could they been set when in the 80's cable wasn't common to make video stars? Also to create and introduce new genres to the masses that radio stations at the time didn't play?

Blockbuster wasn't around to elevate movies and introduce folks to new genres?

80's and prior decades laid alot of ground work or "standards" but if we're talking about over PEAK of everything everything peaked in the 80s ...yes there were some aspects that were better in prior decades but overall 90's wins hands down. Pop culture was just on another level

TV, movies, magazines, etc etc etc... You act like the 80s and prior was everyone living in a black hole.. It wasn't the 1930s. You turn on the TV and see what people are wearing. You get the catalogs in the mail.. Every store basically had the same shyt. You see the stars like everyone else. MTV was out since 81..

People knew how to dress all the same across the country in every era... Definitely in the 80s too

I still got all of my starter jackets I had since like '90. The only one I do not have is the Oakland A's starter Too Short wore in his Verzuz. That was my first one ever. Threw it away as it was too small. I have a few of them
