as a child of the Global South I will always commemorate 9/11.

September 11 1973 is when the United States of America succeeded in its jihad against the Chilean people by engineering a coup against the democratically elected leader Salvador Allende, for having the audacity of advocating nationalist and socialist policies.

never forgive, never forget.

*awaits 50 examples of 3,000 people being killed in single day attacks 50x since 9/11* :sas1:

The occupation of Iraq resulted in the deaths of a million people, you break that down over a 8 year period and 2000-3000 people were dying every week like clockwork :camby:

The president just said we're going to attack more terrorists just the other day right before 9/11. We haven't learned shyt, and are doomed for another 9/11 to repeat through an endless cycle of pointless violence. 9/11 is one of the major downfalls of america. Go to war over a single terrorist attack, brehs.

I agree time heals all wounds.

9/11 is different though. 9/11 almost feels like a "BC" time point., shyt is either pre or post 9/11.

Pearl Harbor doesn't have that same feel or effect. There's no footage of it...that mere fact alone will ensure it wont end up a foot note like Pearl Harbor.
I feel like if it happened any time before 2000, people wouldn't talk about it as much. Imagine if it were "September 11, 1999".

On a serious note I think the conneticut and batman shootings were worse because people didn't see those coming
:what:but they saw 9/11 coming? Some of the ignorance in these posts is a shame :wow: 9/11 flipped America upside down. I would venture to say it was the most important event in the last 30-40 years. Airport security, fly zone regulations, the economy, passport laws, national security and immigration, are just a few things that 9/11 changed. Not to mention it had the country in fear for a long period after that....you youngns disgust me with your feeble minds :pacspit:

I didn't really know what it was until a few years later, it depends on the person, like in my area we are affected by the va tech shooting more than 9/11

I feel you cuz I'm in VA too but still 9/11 had more of an impact....unfortunately that VA Tech shooting was the one that started all the school shootings so that had a negative influence but 9/11 had the world watching
