He was bluffing. He had donors that wanted BIF to pass, plus he wanted that bipartisan win on a bill he helped draft so he could stave off talk of ending the filibuster. Remember he literally begged his donors to force Republicans into giving him a bipartisan win so people would shut up about the filibuster. In that case it was on voting rights, but this is arguably a much bigger win.

That was all bullshyt to get the 'progressives' to cave on BIF, which they did after getting punked by Pelosi, Biden and Manchin.

He'd just say no. He's a mob boss flexing his muscles. Making Biden look weak in the process
:mjcry: i just wanted biden to do good

he shot himself in the foot with covid. he should have declared victory when everyone in america could get the vaccine, and then blamed republicans and fox news for the unvaccinated. instead, democrats are taking the blame for the unvaxxed, in the most pathetic political move ive ever seen in my lifetime

BBB...they did a little too much. could have been drawn back :yeshrug: something is better than nothing

oh well. theres always 22 and 23 :obama:

2023 is going to be the year of GOP Hunter Biden investigations once Republicans win the House in the midterms. At this point I think they can win the Senate too.

2023 may also be the year Trump announces he's running again due to Dems getting smoked in the midterms and GOP passing voter restriction laws designed for Trump to have advantage.

the democrats are running on forcing you and your children to get the shot, if you want to earn a living or go to school

HL is gonna learn a hard lesson about how self-respecting men vote, in 2022. and its not gonna be for democrats :mjlol:

The minute manchin made his declaration.

Biden should have signed the 10k student loan bill.

Always be prepared to off set losses with gains.

Biden comes across as a inept leader

Biden's only play is that and he may have killed his political capital with it cause of his administration's tepid statements towards it so far

my post from nov…
I can’t really get excited about infrastructure. Infrastructure should be a normal and consistent thing. Celebrating an infrastructure bill is like celebrating having toilet paper because you didn’t have any. I could be wrong. Maybe an infrastructure bill will be enough because i have doubts about getting anything better at this point.

i dont know why people are saying they didn’t see this coming. It was clear manchin was as much against bbb as the republicans and he was juelzing whenever he got asked if he supported it. So voting is the next thing manchin will kill?
