Wait, this video is WAY worse than the OP. Those legendary Celtics struggling to stop a truck driver with a walrus stache in a playoff game. :laff:

The minute after the time stamp where he becomes completely unstoppable and they start throwing double and triple teams and just leaving everyone else open is kinda sad. :picard:

And the takedown that leads to the brawl might be the best I've seen on a bball court. :ehh:

This is the guy who averaged 20-11-4 on 56% shooting from '82-'86.

Perkins would have been a dominant force in that era. :wow:

No zone, 5 seconds back to the basket. shyt, most of these rules came because of A.I. and Shaq.

Its the same like the poster @ISO who put up a couple of videos showing the comparison of defense played between Mike when he played the pistons in 1990 in the playoffs, and when Bron played the Celtics in 08 and 10 in another thread. He could not see the commitment on D the Pistons showed Mike from the perimeter to the interior in the videos he posted. He also made false claims that the Celtics were double teaming and triple teaming Bron from the perimeter. If anyone watched those series, they saw the Celtics only had one guy defending Bron on the perimeter between Pierce, Posey, and etc Heck, they even gave Bron open jumpers at times which he clanked. They only committed to showing him a double if he showed willingness to penetrate You saw those same defenses being used on him later on with Dallas, San Antonio, and GSW. Detroit defense was more focused on sending help on Jordan once he got on the perimeter because they knew his mid range game was money. You saw higher level defense being played on Mike by Pistons in those vids.

MJ stans are the worst. The sooner you realize they are trash, the better.

MJ stans are the trash, but Bron stans stay trying to put him in top tier class when he took shortcuts to ensure winning, choked like no other NBA great before on the biggest stage, and never sticks around when situations get tougher. Bron's resume feels cheap when you really look at things with a magnifying glass. If Jordan stans are trash, then what do you call Bron stans with his resume?

Its like they try to snap those moments away like Thanos so they never happened. They gave the so called best player in the game the Rondo treatment because they knew his jumper was shaky. Popovich knows damn well he would never disrespect MJ or Kobe with that type of defensive game plan.

Roy Hibbert's dominance wasn't even in this era...

What would hand-checking do to LeBron? If Steph stays getting hand-checked in the playoffs, then I'd expect Bron to as well, no?
165lb Mark Price and could get to the hoop in the 1990s but they think hand-checking woulda stopped LeBron. :snoop:

Imagine the effect that 6'6" 185lb Gerald Wilkins or 6'7" 205lb Xavier McDaniel would have on Bron with a "hand check". :bryan:

Here's 5'10" 160lb Michael Adams somehow getting to the hoop repeatedly despite the dreaded hand-checking.

U TRIED THO[/QUOTE]
NO THE HIGHEST BASKETBALL IQ EVER IS KOBE BRYANT

How do you watch and pay attention to NBA basketball that way you do and continue to say some super ignorant shyt like this? :mjlol:

Bird and Magic both had superior IQs than Kobe...and they were better players as well.

I told you you never double or triple team LeBron on the perimeter in triple threat because he would pick you apart with his passing. U would never defend these two players in the same way.

I told you LeBron had defenders digging down on his drives and faced multiple defenders on his dribble drives. The quality of halfcourt set defense and effort on transition defense was superior and in the two videos LeBron was fouled harder on average. The Celtics had two rim protectors on the floor in Garnett and Perkins most of the time.

The defense the Pistons were playing would easily be picked apart by LeBron James the same way Michael did
.

Your in denial. Not with his shaky jumper at the time. You remember what the Spurs did to Bron in 07? Had that due shooting damn near 35 percent from the field, and it was just Bruce guarding him on the perimeter alone. They only made a commitment to converge on him once he got to the paint. They forced Bron to shoot shots he clearly could not make. Pistons would implement the same defense on him at the perimeter and have Rodman, Lamibeer and Salley, Hastings, and Edwards ready to come at him once he found lanes to the basket. Bron is no Magic when it comes to play-making as well. When he is defended well he has alot of high turnover games that are documented in the postseason. He is a great play-maker, but don't paint him like he is great at taking care of the ball. That Pistons D would have feasted on him because of his limitations shooting the ball.

Somebody compile a list of the best defensive ratings Michael and LeBron have faced in the playoffs

I guarantee you off the strength of the ‘06 and ‘07 Pistons, ‘09 Magic, ‘11 Bulls, ‘08-‘12 Celtics, ‘12 and ‘13 Pacers, ‘07, ‘13 and, ‘14 Spurs, ‘15-‘17 Dubs that LeBron comes out on top

Imagine if LeBron was just defended man-to-man and with occasional double and triple teams. The defenses that have been more effective against him were banned how do y’all not get that. It’s LeBron on an island and occasionally seeing a double which would easily pass out of or beat off the dribble. It’s no converging help defenders, no man watching, no sagging, no digging down.

Exactly. NBA was concerned teams were focusing too much on single players and instituted rules that made it far more difficult for a single iso scorer to take a team to the championship.

Pop had Diaw self checking Lebron
:mjlol:
Switching Diaw/Kawhi on-and-off worked for literally two quarters (only 8 of LeBron's 22 shots were on Diaw that game) and then Bron solved him, scored 70 in back-to-back wins the next two games and won the title. :deadmanny:

Why do you think Pop even tried Diaw? Because LeBron had started destroying Kawhi.

Did you really neg me over the the facts I posted earlier. Kinda sad really.
Breh literally everything you said was ridiculous, you ain't even trying to be serious at this point. :russ:
