Wait, this video is WAY worse than the OP. Those legendary Celtics struggling to stop a truck driver with a walrus stache in a playoff game. :laff:

The minute after the time stamp where he becomes completely unstoppable and they start throwing double and triple teams and just leaving everyone else open is kinda sad. :picard:

And the takedown that leads to the brawl might be the best I've seen on a bball court. :ehh:

CbbSWG_XEAAH97_.jpg

This is the guy who averaged 20-11-4 on 56% shooting from '82-'86.

Perkins would have been a dominant force in that era. :wow:

THIS DUDE IS A CENTER AND SHOOTS A BETTER FREE THROW PERCENTAGE THAN LEBRON

:mjlol:

THAT SAME SEASON HE PUT UP 38 ON BILL LAIMBIER, 37 ON MOSES MALONE, 30 ON ARTIS GILMORE, 20 ON KAREEM........

STOP PRETENDING LIKE U UNDERSTAND BASKETBALL BEYOND YOUR INFATUATION FOR LEBRON

“I never liked zones,” Jordan said. “I felt like that’s a lazy way to play defense and with them, you can eliminate a lot of the stars making things happen.”

Steph said “I’m Back” in Portland and shytted on them and he closed out the OKC series and had great games in the Finals and simply underperformed to close. It wasn’t close to Isiah coming back from a torn wrist. Steph was fine.

I’m cool with all that tho keep the same energy for the times LeBron had injured teammates too. Like Larry Hughes torn foot plant in ‘07, D-Wade knee drainage in the ‘12 and ‘13 playoffs, Bosh high ankle sprain and abdominal strain in ‘12 and ‘13, Kyrie kneecap in ‘15, K-Love shoulder in ‘15, K-Love concussion in ‘16.

That is the thing, I'm not making excuses for anyone. Those guys decided to come back and play those games knowing they were not fine. That is the game and the writers are not going to make excuses for losers. Injuries are apart of the game, and there is no reason to discredit a team winning a championship or getting to a title series off a another team's misfortune. I'm trying to get you to realize if you are bringing up Isiah's injuries to discredit the Bulls road to a title, then you have to do that for every player or great team that faced those issues as well. Its not cool for you to even bring that up.

I’m aware. I just want Bron haters to keep the same energy. :mjpls:

I’m not discrediting Mike. ‘91 Bulls were the best team in the league and he was the best player in the league. They deserved it.

Bron stans talk about athleticism in today's NBA when you're not even allowed to touch guys. No point being athletic if you're not allowed to use it. No handchecking, wide open lanes. The Knicks teams Jordan beat in 91 and 92 are far more athletic than any team Lebron has faced in his career.

That Knicks team of 91 and 92, with Mason, Oakley, X-Man, Charles Smith, Ewing, Wilkins. "Jordan stoppers" . That was probably the most physically intimidating team ever assembled in NBA history.

Those were some scary dudes and Lebron will struggle mightily against team like that with those eras rules. Roy Hibbert was giving this guy some problems driving to the basket. And this is an NBA of open lanes and no hard physical contact allowed.

Send Bron back in time as a product of evolution exposed to modern science, information & nutrition

Bring Jordan to modern times with the same habits & technology of the 80s/90s

The logic of some :russ:

Roy Hibbert's dominance wasn't even in this era...

What would hand-checking do to LeBron? If Steph stays getting hand-checked in the playoffs, then I'd expect Bron to as well, no?

fukk is this guy talking about? A 39 win ‘91 Knicks team with a 12th ranked defense and mediocre 107.3 defensive rating. Charles Smith wasn’t even on those teams or even worth mentioning he was a bust of a signing for the Knicks.

LeBron would destroy Gerald Wilkins if that’s his assignment.

LeBron averaged 30/11/6 on 50% against Indiana in ‘12 and 29/7/5 on 51% in ‘13.

Roy Hibbert? ‘12 and ‘13 Indiana had a better defensive rating than both those Knicks teams he just named.

This guy still thinks LeBron can be stopped with double teams and man-to-man defense.

He keeps talking about this era when LeBron has played 17 years in the NBA.

Its the same like the poster @ISO who put up a couple of videos showing the comparison of defense played between Mike when he played the pistons in 1990 in the playoffs, and when Bron played the Celtics in 08 and 10 in another thread. He could not see the commitment on D the Pistons showed Mike from the perimeter to the interior in the videos he posted. He also made false claims that the Celtics were double teaming and triple teaming Bron from the perimeter. If anyone watched those series, they saw the Celtics only had one guy defending Bron on the perimeter between Pierce, Posey, and etc Heck, they even gave Bron open jumpers at times which he clanked. They only committed to showing him a double if he showed willingness to penetrate You saw those same defenses being used on him later on with Dallas, San Antonio, and GSW. Detroit defense was more focused on sending help on Jordan once he got on the perimeter because they knew his mid range game was money. You saw higher level defense being played on Mike by Pistons in those vids.

MJ stans are the worst. The sooner you realize they are trash, the better.

I told you you never double or triple team LeBron on the perimeter in triple threat because he would pick you apart with his passing. U would never defend these two players in the same way.

I told you LeBron had defenders digging down on his drives and faced multiple defenders on his dribble drives. The quality of halfcourt set defense and effort on transition defense was superior and in the two videos LeBron was fouled harder on average. The Celtics had two rim protectors on the floor in Garnett and Perkins most of the time.

The defense the Pistons were playing would easily be picked apart by LeBron James the same way Michael did.
