'The Marvels' was 65% men for the box office that it did have... women were a big reason why it flopped. They don't show up.

You can have a minority lead and have character development and a strong script. It's not mutually exclusive. When they did Black Panther guess what they were pandering to Black people. They also made a good movie. Black people advocating for less representation lost the plot.

A good script writer and director will find a way to balance the characters so that everyone is developed and given some shine. We've seen team up movies that have accomplished that and we've seen ones that didn't. Don't play dumb. lol

All those movies had a lead. Ironman is the lead in every Avengers movie and yes, they developed the other characters but all to a less extent than Tony Stark.

Either start with the original 5 with Cyclops as the protagonist, or use Kitty Pryde/Jubilee as the POV character in movie centered around the 80s or 90s teams.
Wolverine can be the protagonist of his own movies involving the classic Wolverine comic runs like his adventure in Japan/Mardipoor, and the original Weapon X books.
