You know you don’t have to purchase concessions when you go to the movie theater, right? A-List is still the most bang for your buck thing even without the food and drinks. I’d still be a member if there were any AMC theaters in my area.I cut out going to the movies altogether, including that AMC A-List Membership. No more being the only one forced to see those lackluster movies, just because I already paid for them. And no more overloading on, and overpaying for that salty popcorn and those large drinks as a result. And most of all, no more dealing with that bad customer service. I feel more safe watching Tubi.
The only time it makes sense for the average person to go to theaters is days like today, because of the Tuesday discount...if they really wanna see the movie. You know you don’t have to purchase concessions when you go to the movie theater, right? Man fukk Bob Iger
He's only back to try to increase the value so they can do a sell off. Disney basically took the MCU and pimped it. Disney + wouldn't exist without the MCU. Netflix did it better, so they shouldn't just let them do it. It was just pure greed and ego. And now Iger is back to do just that.
All of this is on Feige. And like I said before... 35 year old Feige in 2008, isn't the same as 50 year old Feige today.
Disney Pulls 2026 ‘Star Wars’ Movie From Release Calendar
Disney has pulled the untitled 2026 “Star Wars” movie from the release calendar, the company announced on Friday.
The film is being replaced by “Ice Age 6,” which will release on Dec. 18, 2026. Although unconfirmed, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy was supposed to direct a film about rebuilding the new Jedi Order 15 years after the events of “The Rise of Skywalker,” which has Daisy Ridley attached to reprise her role as Rey.
A filmmaker and journalist, Obaid-Chinoy directed documentaries like “Saving Face” and recently helmed episodes of the Marvel series “Ms. Marvel.” Her feature will be set the furthest in the future in the “Star Wars” timeline that we’ve seen in live-action.
The last “Star Wars” live-action film was 2019’s “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” directed by JJ Abrams. The film served as the final chapter in the Skywalker Saga that began with “Star Wars: A New Hope” in 1977.
