It’s been 15 years surely people didn’t think this cultural dominance the MCU and other comic book universes was gonna last forever right?
Disney obviously did hence by the details of the article. Common sense would have told them and anyone else who insisted as well that they were setting themselves up for failure tying the multiverse to multiple TV shows and movies, yet you had some posters in here insisting that it was okay.

Those movie budgets for Marvel TV shows were never going to be sustainable or profitable in the current steaming ecosystem as even cable companies weren’t dumb enough to try it for the most part outside of a few shows here and then.

They should leave the X-Men and FF alone until they fix their in house issues as that would be the final nail in the superhero universe for the time being if they fukk it up.

The struggle with Blade is:francis:

Adapting that movie is a layup. Wesley made that movie with damn near no budget or expectations and made a classic.

This movie has the backing of a major studio, an Oscar winning actor and a franchise that has made billions.

Yet here they are struggling damn near 5 years later to adapt martial arts, vampires and motorcycles.
Every single person associated with those script debacles needs to be shown the door.

But the bigger question is who is allowing them to get to that point? Like who approves these scenes and scripts and allows them to get to this point? This is ridiculous.

There is no excuse to even in the pre-draft scripts that they ever should have seen the light of day. All you have to do is watch the first movie over again keep what works (fight scenes and easy to follow plot) and improve on its weaknesses (dated effects) and keep it moving.

Literally make John Wick with vampires

Problem with Kang was him being the villian in Ant Man. His variant was fine in Loki.
he had mystery in Loki. we didn't really see what he could do yet, so it sold the idea that he could be a universe threatening villain... then he showed up in Antman as the "conqueror" and shot lasers out of hands and delivered his lines like some Shakespeare in the Park jobber and shyt. oh and he had a dumb gyroscope egg ship or some shyt. wow, cool. "he is the master of time." we just left the Thanos saga where that motherfukker could fukk with time, and still had 5 other stones to do other shyt, all better than "pew, pew, i shoot shyt from my hands like 20 other characters we've seen already." Kang sucked, and if that's how they intended to intro that Kang, he would have sucked in any movie. Any props that character got was just because everyone was reaching for something decent in that dud of a movie.

The problem with Blade is Disney had no interest in making it in the first place.
Its one situation where Feige probably should have just told Ali nah we good in hindsight

Could have circled back and offered him Kang.

Again just hindsight reaction that would have cleared up both issues and its good.
