Mikey was stupid to do that too.. There's weight classes for a reason. No way Canelo goes back down to 154 when hes trying to fight at 168 and 175 right now. Not saying spence wont go up and fight canelo at 160.. Just saying it wont happen anytime soon. This isnt 7 lbs like your trying to make it seem.

Anyone with eyes can see he is naturally bigger than Canelo, but that don't mean he can fight at that weight effectively. 7lbs in boxing means a lot bruh.

We'll see..Wilder is knocking guys out that outweigh him by 30-40 lbs. Tommy Hearns brought his power up with him to every division...all the way to Cruiser. Get hit clean enough to the body and the truth always comes out.

There's a reason Spence went down to 147 after starting at 154. He doesn't have those physical advantages at 154. He's tall but his frame isn't very wide. Dude is actually small compared to j rock, hurd, and lubin. Honestly he might have a difficult time even making it out of 154....those guys are big as shyt and have boxing ability as well. Canelo is short but he's built like a tank. That's why he just walks right through these bigger guys. Spence should be able to stand his ground for a few rounds, but he's not walking canelo down unless canelo allows it. But it's not even about the size. Canelo would beat Spence off boxing skill alone.

Spence couldn't even knock down mikey but he's gonna knock out canelo ......Errol threw everything he had at mikey and couldn't even stagger him. He doesn't have one punch power like that. He's an accumulation puncher. And accumulating punches on canelo is probably the toughest task in boxing right now.

As with all these fights, I'll believe when I see it. Can't even get some matches made under the same roof with the same promoter. You know damn well getting the different promoters to work together will be the biggest obstacle.

Can't see Haymon letting Spence to go and fight Canelo on DAZN. Cause if it would happen anywhere it surely would happen on DAZN due to Canelo's exclusive contract with them and Canelo being the A side.

If it would still happen I'd pick Canelo clearly. Both are elite fighters but Canelo is an elite fighter with a lot more big fight experience and with a bigger size. Stylistically he can be all wrong for Spence too if he can hurt him. Golovkin and Canelo gave each other fits cause Canelo's supreme counterpunching and defense was working well against GGG's lesser defensive ability and come forward style but Golovkin's workrate and iron chin was working well against Canelo's lower punch output.

Spence has the workrate of Golovkin and let's say a little better defense but he hasn't got Golovkin like power (even GGG couldn't hurt Canelo) and we don't know if he has Golovkin like chin (Golovkin has one of the if not the best chins in boxing), especially going up 2 divisions.

So all things point to a Canelo W to me, might as well stops Spence later in the fight.
