Nah Spence can't be underestimated, but I just don't think he's slick enough to avoid canelo's counter shots. Canelo is much quicker and more compact on the inside. Canelo successfully walked down little g and Danny Jacob's who is a HUGE middleweight. He's not getting walked down by Errol Spence.

I also don't see Errol standing his ground and trading with canelo when he's gonna be at a power and speed disadvantage. That means he's gonna have no choice but to fight going backwards and that's not his game. Errol hasn't faced anybody who's gonna make him pay for every missed punch. He's also never faced a guy with the offensive arsenal that canelo has. So you add that to the fact canelo is bigger, faster, and more defensively sound.....this shyt is gonna be a tough task for Spence. He's still gonna be a live dog cause he's that good.....but right now I see his only way to victory being canelo completely gassing out. Cause just from a talent perspective, he's not in canelo's league. YET.

That's why it would be better for Spence to wait. I don't see his team letting this fight happen right now. Yea he'd make a shyt load of money but there's a good chance he might never be the same again. Errol is a toe to toe fighter and canelo is not the guy to do that with. All of his opponents learn that very early. Canelo has the power to end any fight with one punch. And Errol Spence is always there to be hit.

As for Spence vs Canelo.
Before the Mikey fight, I thought Spence had a good shot, but after he changed gears on a smaller man to avoid elite counterpunching, I don't feel like he got the confidence to fight his normal aggressive fight against a guy who is probably a better counter puncher than Mikey, plus naturally bigger with quicker hands. If he do that keep away shyt with the jab, and let Canelo plod after him, he'll lose a close boring decision. If he goes beast mode and come forward like normal, he has a better shot at winning, but he'll also take more punches. I don't know if Spence ready for all that.

The Mikey fight ruined the potential Canelo fight for me. Both them nikkas should fight cats in their own division. fukk all this spin off shyt.
