Canelo wont even get much credit if he beats spence since hes way smaller right now... Let spence go up in weight before this is discussed

I don't think Spence will beat Canelo only because you have to knock him out to get a W, and I just don't see that happening. Anytime they gave him a majority decision loss in the Floyd fight, you know you have to downright beat the sleeves off of Canelo to get a fair score. And Canelo too slick and experienced to catch one of those down right beatings unless he get old over night in the ring. Someone mentioned it before, but Canelo has been fighting a long time. Each of those 56 fights come with 56 training camps. That's a lot of wear and tear on the body. As far as just the matchup, if Spence stays away from those uppercuts, it would be an easy fight for him. Canelo has gotten almost too slick with his defense, in a sense that he doesn't transition into his offense as much as he used to. Sure it looks good to dodge 6 punch flurries, but what made Canelo really good was that he countered after 2 or 3 shots. Now he dodges flurries and spin out, sometimes only throwing a jab on the way out to secure his exit. Even worse is the exaggerated head turn when rolling with punches now. When you're in the ring with someone loading up to take your head off, that works. But you can't be in there coming outta form with each punch like that when you're in the ring with someone that threw 1,000 punches his last fight. I'd expect Spence to touch him up and force Canelo to absorb enough punishment to where he'd have to stand in front of him by round 7. And if Canelo run outta gas like he always tend to do, I think Spence has the skill set to take advantage of it. Spence is way more skilled than people are giving him credit for.

Not everyone is there to get knocked out. Its only two men in that ring and both men deserve credit and props. Give Mikey his props for being tough enough to stand in there.

The Ring knows I'm a Floyd stan but so what if he lost to him? Yeah he lost but what has he done since then - moved up to Middleweight and beat the man who was THE MAN in his division, now holding the majority of the belts and is a few fights away from becoming undisputed.
What has Spence done at Welterweight? Kell Brook (after GGG) ... Lamont Peterson... Mikey Garcia (who moved up from 135 I believe? ) . I have no problems with Spence but lets make things clear he needs to become top dog in his division before thinking about Canelo cause right now Keith Thurman is (going by accomplishments) top dog in his division.
