I'm simply looking at the election results and seeing a candidate running a blatantly anti immigrant campaign win and coming to the conclusion that the predicted Hispanic wave is bullshyt, trump won FL
The thing that is going over your head is that there is a huge percentage of hispanics that are 1) white 2) conservative 3) agree with Donald trump on immigration or 4) racist 5) a combination of said categories
What I am saying has nothing to do with breaking bread with any politicians or playing games in DC

I take serious issue with the efforts by democrats to set up hispanics as a primary power group over black people and the efforts to turn America into a bilingual country, I think a lot of black people including myself find it disturbing
IMO it's good that Hillary lost, black people dodged a demographic bullet that would have reduced black political power in the long term

And you are right there is level of Anglo Saxon elitism, But at the end of the day white Hispanics are in fact white And benefit from it.
They are just a branch of the European diaspora just like white Americans and white Canadians.
They recognize that they may not be WASP but they do know they aren't black. They understand they have more leverage in not being black. They aren't worried about the things you may be worried about as black person.
This concept of you seeing Hispanic community as one big non white entity is only like 30 years old.
Just look at who was on TV back then with not much resistance. If we talk about white supremacy you can not just conveniently exclude white supremacy in Latin America.
