1. Appease "white working class" by toeing a hard line on immigration
2. Drive wedge between black/brown voters who hold much more liberal/progressive views than centrist/third way/clinton/dlc faction
3. Tell black voters that hard line on immigration for their benefit (when in reality it's just a way to cozy up to rednecks)
4. Create new coalition of white working class + centrist/dlc/neoliberals + black voters (who Nap is counting on to ALWAYS support Dems no matter what) + all other ethnic groups (hispanic/asian etc)
5. Govern as a centrist, implementing policies that will continue to grind black/brown/poor voters into the dirst

if i had to sum it up, i would put it like this

the real people who are ruining this country are the white criminals on Wall Street, in boardrooms, and at the highest levels of government who are sucking america dry. not people who come here illegally and compete with citizens for 12 dollar an hour jobs

but being that i don't foresee any french revolution type of shyt popping off where we throw those wealthy people in guillotines, the fact is that the presence of illegal immigrants is not a positive thing in the meantime. and the democrats trying to get behind them for votes is gonna do exactly the opposite. running on platforms of things like sanctuary cities is insane to me
