We don't have to agree on what is "black" because we agree on what is NOT "black". What matters is that we agree that white women do not give birth to black children. And black children do not come from white sperm.
You can replace "white" with other things as well.
Saying that non black people are not black does not cause division.
What causes division is creating a new race of people and putting them above the original people. What causes confusion is people who look somewhat like you, but they aren't your people. What causes confusion is being caught in between two opposing forces - who do you choose to identify with when you are both?
As for 3 generations, that is not MY criteria. And 3 generations doesn't refer to being black in itself, which is why black was in quotation marks in that post.
In the real world you can call yourself whatever you want. I can call myself a giraffe. That doesn't mean anyone - human or animal- has to accept it.

Not being smart enough to understand the concept of race is the source of your confusion. Biracial isn't a race. Biracial(people with 1 black parent) have ways been our people. If you're a biracial black person then your ID is a biracial black person. Black simply means person who's visibly of visible African descent.
