Sorry but a 100 years head start>>>>>>>>freak athletes whose body types wouldnt even suit the game and have 0 skill
Basically you would have to overhaul the youth sector and to reap from it, takes 10-20 years in itsself and then thats hopin everyone else stands still. Then theres killin the college level of the game aswell, there just no point in it tbh. And your league would have to improve acouple of levels also
So Americans have different body type than other countries.
You know how stupid you just sound.
Oh and you lot do realise when it comes to football (soccer smh) technical skill and tactics>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>athletic freaks right?
Stop being a silly tart and recognise who I'm talking to
Hoodrats always think someone is talking to them
It's never going to happen with the NFL/NBA around, but there's no denying that our talent pool for soccer is slim pickings right now. And even then we're somewhat competitive with 3rd tier athletes. If kids in the hood knew how much Ronaldo was making you'd see nikkas on the corner everywhere with a soccer ball in their hands.
I actually expect our soccer team to improve in the next 20-30 years with the growing Hispanic population. I don't think we'll ever win a world cup, but you never know.
Are people really stating that Americans wouldn't be able to develop soccer skills if the an infrastructure was in place similar to Europe's? Like we're all 'freak athletes' who get by on genetics alone and wouldn't be able to pick up the nuances of the game. US athletes are the best in the world and add in the fact they would be developing soccer skills on par with Europe, it's a wrap. Nobodies saying put Lebron on the field now and he'd be Ronaldo status, but if he were groomed for the game I don't see any other nation competing with what we have to offer.
Dependin on the nation and their status in the game, immigrants children often want to play for the countries of their parents birth, especially if them national FA's come callin especially if theyre better teams, not all the time, but it does happen.

@ Football and Basketball not taking technical skill and tactics.
A lot you guys sound like Complete morons.
if the system was overhauled today, it would take about 40-50 years to see the results. Are people really stating that Americans wouldn't be able to develop soccer skills if the an infrastructure was in place similar to Europe's?
