we need a GGG-Danny Jacobs-Canelo round robin man.

then anthony joshua vs. deontay wilder trilogy

errol spence jr. vs. terrance crawford

then boxing should be in the mainstream as a WHOLE again.

crawford will get mauled. I think he's too lil and Errol too much of a dog

Crawford better fight a Garcia/Pacquiao/Porter first

Anybody hating on GGG and his skills can't anymore. No matter who you had winning you have to admit GGG showed out and all the skill advantages Canelo was said to have that was going to win him the fight, never were that effective.:takedat:

He won't go up and fight Andre Ward tho :troll:

(Isn't what they do to Lil Floyd)

I give GGG Lotta credit, but he only came alive once Canelo gassed out. In the first 4 rounds, he got a boxing lesson.

After that kovalov fight ggg is like :whoa:

Hell, ward won't get anyone to fight him now. Dude is the p4p tops, plus he ain't a draw. Ward gonna have to move to hw lol

I always thought it was funny how the same people who think Floyd should move up to 160 (when he can barely make 154) to fight GGG aren't clamoring for GGG to move up to fight Ward. The :mjpls: never stops

Jacobs had a noticeable effect on GGG, to the point where Jacobs would often stalk GGG late in their fight and GGG had to be overly defensive because the shots hurt. He said this after the fight as well.
Everyone who has fought floyd said it isn't frustration that they stop punching, its that he picks and times his shots so well that the punching makes you defensive because you don't want to get hit again. Everyone says this.
Don't waste your breath.

I give GGG Lotta credit, but he only came alive once Canelo gassed out. In the first 4 rounds, he got a boxing lesson.
Even when canelo would get those spurts of energy in the later rounds, little g had no answer. He would just get his head rattled and look confused until canelo got exhausted again and went to the ropes willingly. Then little g would finally feel confident enough to open up again. When canelo was on his head, little g was nervous as hell to engage.

The whole theme for this fight was canelo's stamina. Point blank. Little g's only success came when canelo looked like he was gonna pass out from fatigue. And even then little g looked wild, slow, and was missing most of his punches. And the punches that managed to land, canelo ate all them shyt's and kept coming. This fight proved 3 things.

1. Canelo and little g are some true warriors. They ate each others best shots and kept fighting to the end.

2. Canelo is on a completely different level skill wise. The shyt isn't even remotely close. Little g is straight up and down just like Floyd said. This fight proved it loud and clear.

3. Canelo's stamina is absolutely abysmal. One of the worst in boxing.

And I think it's safe to say little g isnt the thunderous puncher everybody said. If you can't put down a man who has no energy then you just don't got crazy power like that. Dude got his whole rep by knocking out C level competition. He couldn't put down brook and could never seriously hurt Jacobs or canelo even with his best shots. He's a hard puncher no doubt. But not what the media built him up to be. He's lucky he didn't come up in the b hop, winky wright era. He woulda been exposed very early.

Well said and on point.

#2 is what I always been saying on here. The skill level is just not even close. Lil G body defense was excellent though. He kept half elbow on the lover everytime he'd throw. Other than that, Canelo reigned supreme.

Like Roy Jones put it. Canelo allowed GGG to get in the fight and took over whenever he wanted. That's the skill difference. I applaud GGG team for keeping him away from Ward. He was gonna be made silly easily.

I also regret Floyd didn't drain him to 152 and tax him, while Lampley and Lederman tried to explain to each other what could be wrong with GGG.

All in all, good fight and GGG got Lotta problems now. He been in a war, he's old and killers are looming in the 160 waters. Where does he go next, if no rematch ?

Like I was telling @reservoirdogs it's not a coincidence at all lol. Those fools always find some shade on Floyd, but GGG ? No. If Floyd had a remotely close fight, it's robbery and rematch ASAP. Jacobs beat the breaks off GGG in a close fight and not 1 of them said we wanna see a rematch. Instead, they use it as "he was a tough fight " :dead:

Never seen this in boxing before.
