The axe murderer
For I am death and I ride on a pale horse
You notice that too? He seems to have only 1 gear when it comes to punching at times.i never saw somebody use more energy to throw a punch.

doesn't matter how many tweets you drop. the fact it was scored a draw and almost everybody agrees it was a close fight. even many of the people who thought little g won said they have no problem with a draw, only with the 118-110 score. both sides will have to wait til may for closure. all canelo has to do is focus on his endurance and he wins easily. while little g can't really improve on anything he did last night. he's as good as he'll ever get.

I think canelo hurt little g many times. little g is just a machine. if canelo never hurt him he wouldn't have been hesitant to throw when he had canelo trapped in the corner. he also wouldn't have shelled up every time canelo let off his combo's. little g was coming forward but was still very defensive minded. he respected canelo's power to the end. I think the rematch will start the same way because little g will still respect canelo's power, especially in the early going when he's fresh. I see a repeat of the same strategy. I just canelo will be better prepared endurance wise next time. either way it was a great fight that was marred by one bad score card. both guys gave it their all.Nah breh GGG will come out harder next fight, won't be as hesitant early on. You're acting like GGG had no answer to Canelo's combos when he dodged a fair amount of punches himself too breh. Canelo had some of the cleaner shots but GGG landed at a higher volume, at the end of the day both boxed well and both ate each other's shots like nothing. But GGG had Canelo gassed and backing up the whole time. Canelo's counter punching was on point tho, kept G honest. But next fight G knows Canelo can't hurt him and he won't be as hesitant.
canelo will dominate easily in the rematch. his body will be more comfortable at the weight and he'll give him a boxing lesson for the full 12 next time. as long as he hires a real conditioning coach, canelo takes the rematch in dominating fashion. after that, little g will probably cry for another rematch but i'm sure canelo will move on like ......then little g will fight saunders or some other bum and go back to looking like an unstoppable force again.Well said and on point.
#2 is what I always been saying on here. The skill level is just not even close. Lil G body defense was excellent though. He kept half elbow on the lover everytime he'd throw. Other than that, Canelo reigned supreme.
Like Roy Jones put it. Canelo allowed GGG to get in the fight and took over whenever he wanted. That's the skill difference. I applaud GGG team for keeping him away from Ward. He was gonna be made silly easily.
I also regret Floyd didn't drain him to 152 and tax him, while Lampley and Lederman tried to explain to each other what could be wrong with GGG.
All in all, good fight and GGG got Lotta problems now. He been in a war, he's old and killers are looming in the 160 waters. Where does he go next, if no rematch ?
GGG's team saying they are fine with a rematch in Vegas, just want more scrutiny on who judges.

Sergey Kovalev: Las Vegas Does it Again, Golovkin Beat Canelo!
Gennady Golovkin was shaking his head over the outcome of his bout with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez - which was scored as a split draw - an outcome that has seen the judge responsible stood down by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
The eagerly anticipated middleweight showdown in Las Vegas failed to produce a clear winner, judge Adalaide Byrd drawing widespread criticism for scoring the bout 118-110 in favour of challenger Canelo.
Dave Moretti gave it 115-113 to WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO middleweight champion Golovkin, while Don Trella had it as a 114-114 draw.
The result prompted disbelief and anger from expert observers and armchair critics alike, and has left Byrd's top-level judging career in doubt.
"I'm not going to put her right back in," Nevada Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett was quoted as telling the Los Angeles Times.
"She'll still be in the business… but she needs to catch her breath. Unfortunately, she didn't do well. I can tell you she conducts training for us, takes judges under her wing … but her score was too wide."
Even Canelo's promoter Oscar De La Hoya did not attempt to conceal his bemusement at Byrd's interpretation.
"These guys fought their heart out," he said. "Gennady is a tremendous, tremendous champion and Canelo's a tremendous, tremendous champion. Everybody has their opinion but that's what made it such a great, great fight. The 118-110, I don't understand, I really don't. Byrd is a very competent judge but I just don't understand 118-110... 118-110 is a shocker."
Former IBF, WBA, WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev is no stranger to controversy in Las Vegas.
Last November in the famous Nevada city, Kovalev was on the losing end of a twelve round unanimous decision with Andre Ward. There were many who felt Kovalev had done enough to win.
Kovalev exercised a rematch clause. The second fight took place in June, also in Las Vegas, and saw Ward stop Kovalev in eight rounds.
According to Kovalev, in the closing sequence that forced the referee to stop the fight - the Russian boxer claims he was hit with several low bows that forced him to sit on the ropes. He was very unhappy with the referee in the aftermath of the bout.
Kovalev watched the fight from Saturday night and felt there was no question that Golovkin won.
"This is a real problem and there is no solution. Golovkin won this fight clearly. It took place in Las Vegas and there is nothing to be surprised about [in terms of the outcome]. It's not a sport anymore, it's pure business. I'm convinced that it's impossible to find out in Las Vegas who is really the best in their weight class," Kovalev stated.
