Another Gold Medal
A draw was fair ggg was coming forward but was way too ineffective nikka hit the ropes more than he did Canelo. Canelo landed the cleaner punches but his stamina :francis: I had Canelo winning 7-5 but i dont have a prob w ggg 7-5 so the draw was fair.

And :mjlol: @ ggg being happy he got a draw Canelo was legit pissed out there he will beat him in a rematch. Ggg cant make adjustments :manny: he just spams the jab when he uncomfortable. Canelo need to do like Jacobs n invite #SOGGANG to help him in camp.

I remember all the nikkas talking about ggg cutting off the ring ability a while back slow foot Canelo had him chasing him zero ring cutting. Where was this art of shuffling videos u nikkas were posting w violins n shyt. :sas1:

People crying robbery are just jumping on the bandwagon. Canelo swept the first 3 rounds then came back strong to close it out. And there were a few rounds where one guy would win half the round then the other guy would win the 2nd half. That's just how it was. Little g definitely didn't show any type of boxing greatness today. He was pretty much only successful when canelo would exhaust himself. And even when he had canelo against the ropes and canelo had no energy he was missing 80% of the punches. Little g was coming forward but his fans don't wanna admit canelo had him hesitant as fukk throughout the fight. Even when he had canelo trapped he would barely throw cause he was fearful of the counter shots. Just look at both of their faces. Canelo easily landed the harder and more effective shots. He was rattling little g's whole body in the first few rounds and backing him down. But once his endurance gave out, little g gained confidence and just kept coming.

But even though canelo was exhausted out of his mind, little g still barely managed to land many flush punches and could never hurt canelo. For a guy who's supposedly knocking out heavyweights in sparring, that's inexcusable. Canelo had no energy left. If you're truly a great fighter and a monster puncher you have to at least put him down. You can't let a guy who was running on empty for 8 rounds manage to steal off 30 punch combos on you with no response. If canelo fixes the stamina problem, he will wipe him out clean in the rematch. When they were actually toe to toe in the middle of the ring, canelo was schooling him like we'd never seen anybody do. props to golovkin cause he's a machine, but dude was nothing special tonight. Well his chin and work rate were special. But as far as boxing ability goes, he's obviously nowhere near his fans claim. I still gained respect for him regardless cause the man is a warrior. But I think people are focused on the 118-110 scorecard when the truth is neither of these guys clearly won this fight tonight. A draw was more than fair.

It's that score man. You can't say either dude whooped on the other or didn't have flashes of brilliance or frustration but man 118-110 is criminal.

Both them nikkas got ATG chins.

I thought it was a great fight. 5th, 9th and 11th had me

I'm not a good scorer and I scored it 115-115 (10-10 on the 6th and 11th) so I can see it as a GGG win, it's fine.
I think what was the hardest in this fight was too distinguish volume against cleanliness. GGG had the volume, the jabs, the stakling and Canelo had good elusiveness, clean power punches and counters. I felt like GGG was not really accurate with his punches, missed plenty and sometimes was sloppy and I believe it was partly because Canelo had very good upper body movement. However, even though GGG started gun shy he loosen up through the fight and managed to turn it around only for Canelo to tie it up in the championship rounds with greater activity. Hopefully, GGG will start more aggressively in the rematch and go to the body more because he was clearly lacking in this compartment unfortunately.

Also Compubox is garbage, after the 2nd, there's a replay when GGG lands a clean straight right (not very powerful though) and then Lampley states something like "according to Compubox, all the punches GGG landed were jabs" al that after the replay clearly showed a landed straight right :stopitslime:

Also, GGG so bad in the interviews :snoop:. Man needs to do like Canelo and let his interpreter do the talking while he keeps speaking in his language. Dude has several catchwords but can't really express a thought and that looks bad.

Breh that shot canelo took last 12 seconds of the 10th?11th round? That would've dropped most middleweights

Golden Boy Promotions officially exposed as a dirty company, I thought they were better than that and wanted best for boxing but after tonight it's obvious they're more about the money than the sport itself, no better than Bob Arum.
I don't even think Byrd was bought off, she's just a shyt judge her scores are always way off from everyone else. She's got bad scorecards in MMA fights with nikkas making $25k to show, $25k to win, no high stakes involved, its just in her DNA to be a fukk up.

according to max, he tries to speak english to be more appealing to attract more fans. thats why he's always mentioning "mexican style" and shyt like that. Canelo doesn't have to do that since he's mexican.
