Not necessarily. The judges are like a jury, they can't remain immune to all the publicity. Probably going to hear about it being a robbery for quite a while and although they can be fair in the rematch, may be watching more closely to make sure a 118-110 doesn't happen.

Also, with Canelo's own fans booing him and GGG having fought more Mexican style, Canelo may feel a bit of pressure to stand toe to toe a bit more. I would give that a low percentage of happening, because Canelo is a smart fighter, but it may have made him more game as he clearly was not going to stand and trade with GGG.

Yea it will be 117-111 next time :mjlol:

Canelo got a draw against Floyd.

This aint the first time.

People crying robbery are just jumping on the bandwagon. Canelo swept the first 3 rounds then came back strong to close it out. And there were a few rounds where one guy would win half the round then the other guy would win the 2nd half. That's just how it was. Little g definitely didn't show any type of boxing greatness today. He was pretty much only successful when canelo would exhaust himself. And even when he had canelo against the ropes and canelo had no energy he was missing 80% of the punches. Little g was coming forward but his fans don't wanna admit canelo had him hesitant as fukk throughout the fight. Even when he had canelo trapped he would barely throw cause he was fearful of the counter shots. Just look at both of their faces. Canelo easily landed the harder and more effective shots. He was rattling little g's whole body in the first few rounds and backing him down. But once his endurance gave out, little g gained confidence and just kept coming.

But even though canelo was exhausted out of his mind, little g still barely managed to land many flush punches and could never hurt canelo. For a guy who's supposedly knocking out heavyweights in sparring, that's inexcusable. Canelo had no energy left. If you're truly a great fighter and a monster puncher you have to at least put him down. You can't let a guy who was running on empty for 8 rounds manage to steal off 30 punch combos on you with no response. If canelo fixes the stamina problem, he will wipe him out clean in the rematch. When they were actually toe to toe in the middle of the ring, canelo was schooling him like we'd never seen anybody do. props to golovkin cause he's a machine, but dude was nothing special tonight. Well his chin and work rate were special. But as far as boxing ability goes, he's obviously nowhere near his fans claim. I still gained respect for him regardless cause the man is a warrior. But I think people are focused on the 118-110 scorecard when the truth is neither of these guys clearly won this fight tonight. A draw was more than fair.
The 118-110 scorecard isn't that far off

He didn't win 10 rounds,he won 8

What crazy is the people who have GGG winning 8 rounds :mjlol:

Great post though breh

Life ain't like NBA 2k where you can just max out this or that attribute. "Oh shyt! Lemme throw some VC at my ball handling real quick!" Canelo is never going to have elite stamina.

With that being said, if Canelo had been gifted by the universe elite level stamina he would be :wow: :picard:. He's still a great fighter, though. When he opens up shyt be looking like Streets of Rage.

And GGG's chin. :dahell:

IDK man IIRC correctly Canelo made his camp in SoCal, but what if he did more high altitude training? If he does that and has more time to adjust to the added bulk that might help things

When he saw that punch didn't even phase GGG,He was looking like WTF???!!!!:russ:
I didn't see the fight....but for canelo to mentally stay in it and keep boxing well, after GGG ate that like a Krispy Kreme.....tells me a lot about him, impressive:ehh:.....a lot of cats would checkout, get intimidated and give up that L.

@SkiHatDaGawd did you drop your thoughts breh? :lupe:

Not much from say:

Had 7-5 GGG
Canelo gassed as usual. He should've kept boxing. Brawling back fired, forget the fans. Win.
GGG power was useless.
Canelo's power was useless. GGG's whiskers were crazy.
SOG would've washed him, he was smart to duck.
Canelo really doesn't want the rematch, but Oscar obviously does.
GGG's stamina and jab was superb.
GGG wins the rematch
If GGG wants to be greater he needs to fight SOG at 168 first. Main reason, he'll never get a fair shake vs. Canelo.
Canelo's skill is incredibly great. No one beats him at 154. No one.
