do you believe jesus was gods'/son? or a prophet
be careful, your answer condemns at least a billion people
I believe that Jesus was a prophet, and my actions CANNOT condemn anyone, God alone can judge a persons actions, and whether or not they'll end up where they end up.
That's the issue I'm referring to.
Literally: God created people and placed them in situations knowing they would not be able to escape them, and would become "products of their environment." He is then going to judge them for what they became, because he made it that way?
How does is that traditionally fair? There is no such thing as free-will, we are only products of instincts and socialisation.
Free will is very real breh, you mean to tell me that you couldn't just go and rob a bank right now if you wanted to?
What's stopping you? There's an innate morality embedded within us which lets us know that something is wrong but you could do it if you wanted to tho.
As for asking WHY God creates people and tests them despite being omniscient? I really don't know breh, if I knew it would defeat the idea that God is omniscient, God has an understanding that is greater than you or I can fathom so trying to understand that is mental gymnastics. All we can do is try to be good people and always be appreciative of the good things in life.
Unfortunately, not everyone believes life is a gift. More often than not, these people become athiests.
It's crazy, for a believer, everything is testimony to there being a creator. The fact that we are self-aware and consciously debating whether God exists or not is further evidence for me that God exists
there's no way we could be at this level of consciousness without being programmed this way by an intelligent creator.
