Its a cop-out argument because it isn't based in scripture, its a post-Christ theological concept.
Its the "lyrical miracle" of the religious world.
The "Day of Judgement" is also silly. He literally created billions of people, knowing they wouldn't believe in him, just so he could judge them for doing exactly what he created them for.
Omniprescence is an issue because if he truly is every where, and truly resides in all of us, that means he resides in both the killer and the killed, the rapist and the raped, the glutton and the starved.
There is no purpose in this is, its nihilism but sugar-coated so its easier to swallow.

I can't answer for Christianity, but in Islam it is interpreted that every human being has free will and is capable of making their own moral decisions.

The Day of Judgement is the process in which God balances out all the rights and the wrongs, of the world. So although everyone has free will and God is omniscient already, the day of judgement acts as the day where everyone reaps what they've sown. To judge everyone without letting them carry out their actions is sort of like due process, everyone is innocent until proven guilty kind of thing.

As for Ommipresence, God has created everything in existence. There is literally nothing that God has not created. To a believe that is testimony of a Creator, I mean just think about how amazing it is that you're alive, there is no way that life does not have an intelligent creator.

how would anyone appreciate the good if it weren't also for the bad? don't you think there needs to be a balance?

if it were sunny every day, would it mean as much?
This doesn't make sense.
Are you saying that God created us to not be able to experience "good" all the time, so he created "bad" so we'd enjoy it more.
No, there does not "need" to be balance. We conceptualise balance now because its a reality that we hope for.
I would be happy being pain-free all the time instead of 1/2 time in pain, 1/2 not.

Coli atheists are the WOAT :snoop:

How is free will a cop out argument? Every human has the ability to make moral decisions, some choose good, others choose bad. Rape is clearly wrong as is murder, however some people commit these crimes all the time and will therefore have to face the consequences of their actions.

It's practically Newtonian, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, you do some evil shyt and God will punish you on the day of judgement.

As for the arguement that God is evil because of all the natural disasters and the atrocities of this world. Everything happens for a reason that is greater than you or I or any human being can comprehend, that is the entire premise of God being omniscient. How do you expect ANY human being to answer why God does any of the things that God does?

This world that we're living in is merely a test for ultimate judgement, but a lot of people grow too attached to this world. youre meant to have FAITH in God, because there is only ONE true God and the fact that you're even alive is a testimony to that
do you believe jesus was gods'/son? or a prophet

be careful, your answer condemns at least a billion people

Unfortunately, not everyone believes life is a gift. More often than not, these people become athiests.

That's the issue I'm referring to.
Literally: God created people and placed them in situations knowing they would not be able to escape them, and would become "products of their environment." He is then going to judge them for what they became, because he made it that way?
How does is that traditionally fair? There is no such thing as free-will, we are only products of instincts and socialisation.

Is death a worse experience than life?
There is no one who can answer that question.
Life isn't a gift, it is a reality forced upon us.
And for the people forced to endure psychological and physical torture every day of their lives, I promise you, it may be the worst gift every given.

That's another cop-out.
And that's the problem with theology. Answers based on logic based in itself, or chalking it up to "mysterious ways."
This is why I don't spend my days with theological questions anymore, there are far more fruitful pursuits that are free of delusion.

Humor me, what is your favorite thing to eat.

I promise you starvation and an early death from painful diseases are not "glass half full."
Death of God theology is something you should look into if you get the chance.
