I like Kendrick and don't fuk with Drake at all but people are just living in the moment and tryna be up on trends by hyping his track more than it should be...people really in here tryna make a case that his diss or any of these recent disses are among the best let alone the top 5-10 of Hip-Hop diss records?

Lol, nah...Not Like Us is nice however maybe it's just me but I feel like it's more of a catchy club song that has a few direct and subliminal references but not a song that's dedicated in its entirety to dissing the opposing artist. No Vaseline, Hit Em Up, etc were songs made with the intention of particular artists/people being dissed throughout its entirety.

Cube is 100% right that No Vaseline is better than Not Like Us. Cube's diss is in the top 5-10 category of all time, obviously, Gen Z and younger aged millennials (born in that 93-95 range) will probably prefer Kendrick because he's among their era so Cube and the stuff he's saying on Vaseline (along with it's beat) doesn't musically resonate for most of them

almost everything after “mustard on the beat hoe” is about drake and ovo

I wanna be clear. I think Hit Em Up and Ether are better than No Vasoline. But a real underrated diss record was EAZY-E REAL MUTHAPHUCKIN G'S

Growing up I thought Dre Day was better. But when years later we find out Suge was really treating nikkas like "boot camp" in those Deathrow offices. This makes Eazy's diss way more vicious.

At this time unless you was from the streets of LA, we didn't know Suge was pistol whipping, stripping, and making nikkas drink piss :scust::damn:

What's even wilder, Suge was doing all this while running Deathrow out of an office building in BEVERLY HILLS. Can you imagine other business men who worked in that building having to get on the elevator with Buntry, Neckbone, and Suge's wild Pirus :mjlol: Then hearing nikkas screaming for their lives every other day while catching beatings :sadcam:

No Vaseline has too many booty warrior type bars to be a comfortable listen nowadays. No doubt a moment in the culture, but there's a reason the people moved past that.

No one should have an issue with this take. It’s one of first to always get brought up when talking diss tracks for a reason.

They attacked first on Real nikkaz which is an underrated diss track.
It was on them next to respond and Ren said so himself he didn't get a chance to drop his own heater/ respond to No Vaseline. And Cube got lucky imo as he wasn't the boogeyman to a capable lyricist, as time has proven.

This is such absurd point. Ren released several more albums after. Who was stopping him from responding?
