Exactly. People be forgetting the Outlawz was on that shyt and Against All Odds is more scathing even tho Hit Em Up was more popular and iconic.
I almost feel like Pac being dead already is why Against All Odds didn't get the proper rollout. How TF is it left out of these conversations.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
I wouldn't even compare it to that.

You can't compare it to anything from the 90's because rap now is 100x bigger than back then. A song similar to "Dre Day" would not be getting played at sporting events and strip clubs in 2024. Nor would it be a #1 hit.

The only modern analog to "Not Like Us" is "Back To Back".

EDIT:

Or "Dollars + Sense", if it was actually a mainstream hit back then.

Fred.
It ain't better than Dollars + Sense either. And if Dre Day came out now it would def get played everywhere. shyt it got played everywhere then. shyt is in a bunch of movies and everything.

Eazy E also dismantled the remainder of what Dre was at the but he doesn’t write. Still a classic diss song.

Lol clearly you failed English. Do you even know what a verb is?
A word used to describe an action nikka. Such as "stanning" someone. The name "Stan" is a noun. Cause names in general are nouns. But Nas turned the noun(as in someone's name) into a verb. Which enables u to use it to describe someone and make it a noun again. He took it out of the format of a name and made it an action.
