Well done.
My niece makes the same kind of joke.
She's 9.

It’s pretty damn obvious we’ve got a lot of work to do to get back in the good graces of Japan.

Sasaki next year and Murakami the year after that hopefully.

In the meantime, the Yankees might as well go with what they have

Cole/Rodon/Cortes/Schmidt/Gil or Warren. Don’t sign Snell. Don’t sign Imanaga. Matter of fact, I’d kinda be meh at the idea of bringing back Gumby.

They wanna give Giolito a 1 year prove it deal, cool.

The offense still needs work and there’s other good pitchers on the market. If they can get Monty on a good deal, bring him back. He should’ve never been traded to begin with. Go get Bellinger. See if Cleveland is open to trading their third baseman whose name I can’t recall. I want to say Ramirez. $325 million over 12 years for a guy who hasn’t ever thrown in the majors is a massive gamble. Also they need to have an extension lined up for Soto yesterday.

A guy in a walking boot who hadn’t played in a month, had a career triple slash of .246/.320/.409, and had no guarantee that he’d even be cleared to play at any point the rest of the season. He did that shyt in a contract year and got a 4 year extension :mindblown:
but in fairness, Aaron Judge has yet to perform as well as Bader did.

Cashman needs to stop falling in love with the idea of a player when they've proven too many times what they actually are.

BTW,

I get that Jose Ramirez is 31 years old but you could do a lot worse at 3B.
Given that Murakami is on the horizon, the Yankees won't bother trying to take Ramirez off Cleveland's hands. But he's really good. And he only makes like 20M a year.

I would absolutely be on board with that move.

Just checked his page. Holy shyt he’s exactly what they need. Switch hitter, plays 3 spots in the infield, hits an average of 41 doubles per 162 games, steals 20+ bases regularly, slugs at a very good rate but not great so he puts the bat on the ball, only striking out 82 times per 162 while he’s a career .279 hitter. That’s a perfect fit. Get him and Bellinger without losing Torres and this offense is set. Then they just need 1 starter. See if Kershaw wants to come up north :troll:

there's not a chance in hell J-Ram is going to get moved. If he were, going after Soto woulda been a waste of time considering the sweetheart deal Ramirez signed.

shyt, I'd deal Gleyber for Rich Homie Kwan, let along J-Ram, but that's not happening.
