The offense still needs work and there’s other good pitchers on the market. If they can get Monty on a good deal, bring him back. He should’ve never been traded to begin with. Go get Bellinger. See if Cleveland is open to trading their third baseman whose name I can’t recall. I want to say Ramirez. $325 million over 12 years for a guy who hasn’t ever thrown in the majors is a massive gamble. Also they need to have an extension lined up for Soto yesterday.

Just checked his page. Holy shyt he’s exactly what they need. Switch hitter, plays 3 spots in the infield, hits an average of 41 doubles per 162 games, steals 20+ bases regularly, slugs at a very good rate but not great so he puts the bat on the ball, only striking out 82 times per 162 while he’s a career .279 hitter. That’s a perfect fit. Get him and Bellinger without losing Torres and this offense is set. Then they just need 1 starter. See if Kershaw wants to come up north

there's not a chance in hell J-Ram is going to get moved. If he were, going after Soto woulda been a waste of time considering the sweetheart deal Ramirez signed.
