Over the last week or so, he’s making much harder contact. On par with Judge, actually. If this trend continues, I will be a lot more optimistic about his prospects.

He’s still driving too many balls into the ground. I’d prefer to see him pull the ball a bit more and get it in the air, even if it means pitchers attack him away. That’s a part of his game he can develop later. Or (ideally) it would offer him the chance to become more selective and lay off those pitches anyway.
