I respect Tim Walz but his and other democrats take on the murder of that CEO is part of why people think democrats are out of touch.

I have zero expectations for a politician to adopt the kind of celebratory rhetoric you see on social media, especially when it comes to someone being assassinated, no matter who they are. They're always going to engage in diplomacy. There's a stark difference in expectations from someone in that position compared to the average "radical" twitter user. We can freely express that kind of rhetoric, especially since we're not using our real names or posting our jobs, but these people are bound by their position, and that forces them to engage in a more measured kind of political communication. Some of you have radicalized yourselves into stupidity.
1. Nobody is arguing that he should be happy and celebrating like people online are.
2. If you continue to have low expectations out of your representatives, you will continue to elect bad ones.

Everything doesn't have to be a political exercise. Dude was CEO of one of the biggest healthcare companies in the world. Walz expressed his condolences. Politicians especially ones who were on the ticket of a losing presidential election have to use their words carefully.

Aside from the obvious reasons why a public, elected figure isn’t going to condone assassination….

You gotta understand that inviting inflammatory language or sentiments like that is escalating an already precarious and highly volatile political environment.

The Republicans have no shame and have no interest in improving society so they have no issue in appealing and instigating the radical parts of their base to score messaging points. But overall it’s not healthy for a democratic society to be comfortable with political assassinations (regardless of how much the victims deserve it).

Especially in a country with as many guns as we have.

OP sounds like a dimwitted moron

Being edgy doesn't bring in donations to run a political operation
Yes and we all saw what a 1 billion dollar campaign war chest accomplished in this last presidential election. We saw what "not trying to offend people" accomplished in 2016 and this election right? Obviously democrats should continue to do the same shyt since it's worked so amazingly for them.

Show me where in my post or any of my posts in this thread where I am asking for him to condone murder.

Show me an example of what I wanted him to say that would involve being happy that the man was killed.
