I respect Tim Walz but his and other democrats take on the murder of that CEO is part of why people think democrats are out of touch.

My wife works for one of their subsidiaries. That guy was actually the executive sponsor for a program from black employees seeking leadership positions or something like that.

There are so many different angles that could have driven someone to kill him.

nikka do you think a governor is going to celebrate someone being assassinated? :dead:
He didn't have to say anything and if he did, he could have said something like the example I gave in my post. Recognizing that murder is wrong while at the same time at least acknowledging the public's reaction. This is part of the reason why maga has appeal, they at least acknowledge the feelings of their base and tell them "you're not crazy, I'm watching the news too and I agree with you".

Democrats need to be aggressive and in touch with the feelings of the electorate. Stop trying to tell people who have a right to be angry that they shouldn't be angry while the party who acknowledges their anger continues to win.

What the fukk is his response if someone further to the left says "the health insurance industry's decisions lead to millions of lives being lost each year. The greed in our system is so out of control that people are celebrating the murder of a CEO. I don't agree with murder, but I have more sympathy for the millions of working and middle class people who are victims of this business than the people who run it."

You're expecting Democrats to act like Republicans, when that shyt doesn't work for Democrats, because their appealing to two different bases.

....
“I knew Brian. Tragic,” Walz said at a news conference about the state budget today. He said he hopes the person responsible is brought to justice.

“Just our deepest condolences to the family. Horrible tragedy,” Walz said.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., also expressed shock.

“This is a horrifying and shocking act of violence. My thoughts are with Brian Thompson’s family and loved ones and all those working at United Healthcare in Minnesota,” Klobuchar wrote on X this morning.

People are smoking on that CEO pack and he's expressing condolences? There's no public pressure on him or anyone else in the party to speak on this.

If there IS, then what people want them to do is say something along the lines of
"It's regrettable that a man was killed, but I can't pretend that the business he was a part of is not built upon denying Healthcare to millions of Americans. The reaction to his death is something that we should take the time to understand and learn from"

Flip that shyt into your own political benefit ngga what are you doing?! Don't express solidarity with someone whose decisions are literally killing people who would have voted for you! :mindblown: :why:
Come on

These are national leaders.

They can’t say what they really think.

Some might be with the people on this, for others who knew him of course they’re going to be upset.

I’m thankful that Senators and Governors aren’t expressing burner account and Coli thoughts nationally.

It was fukked up how he got popped. But if we find out the CEO himself enjoyed denying claims to dying/sick patients that sentiment may change.

For now i can’t condone that sh!t despite the fact healthcare in this country needs to change

Completely fukking ridiculous. Having a right to be angry is fine. Whenever someone tries to fix these issues some Republican idiot yells out socialist though. These voters just made decisions a month ago to make these private insurers even more powerful.
