How music is consumed is the biggest reason. You don’t think labels have data on what type of songs are being skipped and what type of songs are being replayed. The labels are only going to supply what’s in demand.

It’s also a result of Rap now being the biggest genre. Prior to this era rap artist tried to tap into pop markets, rock markets and R&B markets.

I address this section cause this is the section I frequent the most. I have spoken on these issues in TLR plenty of times as well. I’m just not dedicating a whole thread because THEM muthafukkas over there ain’t right in the head.

I made the thread to speak to the nikkas in this section and anyone else who wanted to chime in. Not just to vent. Matter fact I barely make threads. Are u ok bruh? U looking like a fool right now cause u was rambling wrong shyt for the last 2 pages. Lol.

This is the shyt that is funny to me. I was in middle and high school listening to some of the most violent lyrics ever wrote. Mobb Deep might be my favorite group ever. Beans is one of my favorite rappers ever. And these nikkas really lived dangerous lives. But nikkas make excuses for it becuz it was more lyrical
