so true. :wow:
man if i could go back in time...i'd tell my younger self to enjoy and savor every min of the wonderful mid-late 90's because times flies and before you know it it's over and gone. :(
the world after 2001 became a much shyttier\gloomier place IMO.

hell even video games arent as fun as they used to be. realism has taken the place of actual "fun" for the most part. now it takes half a damn day just to get the controls down. and playing more than 1 game at a time?? :comeon: forget about it

:lawd: I forgot about those damn :wow:

Aww man, the "golden years" of my life...

-"house" phones were not uncommon...some even had cords

-aol online lol...with the fax machine noise to start up (on like 1000 free hrs lmao)

-actual Saturday morning cartoons...that were complex yet entreating at the same time (X men, Spiderman)

-Light hearted cartoons (Looney Tunes, rocky and bull winkle, animaniacs) they didn't have to have semi adult type themes (yes Spongebob I see u)

Overall, a great period to live and be a kid. Outside was almost WAY better than inside and somebody said it, it feels like there was an innocence to being a child then. The internet and 24 hr media cycle has ruined/spoiled this generation. Taken that child-like "naivete" away from these kids...they are just TOO smart (that 13-18 age range, no offense)

Cosign. Kids just don't know how to be kids anymore. I hear little kids as young as 9 talking about sex and I just go :snoop:

These are 2000's babies :wtf:

kids today will never know the feeling of treating a porn tape like gold because of how hard they were to come by. a few clicks of a mouse and kids today has access to whatever niche of porn they desire. in ABC order

Brehs last week I was up extra early on a saturday morning and I was curious to see what the hell are the kids of today watch in the morning time. I flip through channels... nothing but the news on all of them... back in our days we had: Saved By TheBell, City Guys, Hang Time, Spiderman, X-Men, Batman, Superman, Biker Mice From Mars and etc... these kids today got nothing to bring them joy in the morning but the news. 90s FTW:bow:

What happened to being in before the street light came on?

Everybody seems to be looking for the easy way to do everything now...cats wanna get rich by doing nothing, being worldstar/YouTube stars...no hate to those getting money but what happened to building up brands with hard work ie: Bad Boy

Haven't seen a legitimate arcade (not Dave n Busters) like in a mall in years.

Cd books and cracking that cd plastic, HEAVEN!

No save options on a lot of games/systems (NES, SEGA) u played then had to do it all over tomorrow...

Do kids even have sleep overs anymore? Like at your friend house? Play video games , eat junk and watch tv til you passed out lol...

Sports figures seemed more genuine to me back then...

I could go on forever

Remember life before the internet? I do, but for the life of me looking back I don't know how I was able to live without it. Imagine a world where you couldn't find the answer to any question you had simply by typing it into a search bar? Imagine a world where you needed a room full of almanacs, dictionaries and encyclopedias in order to get information. Imagine a world where you have to buy music from a stores and have a shelf full of tapes, cd's and records. You can't fit every song you own into your pocket. You need to buy a multi CD case that hold 50 CDs on it if you want music on the go.

Imagine 20 years ago.
that life was actually more simple and better in it's own kinda way tbh.
going to Soundwaves in houston (indie record shop) for the midnight release of my favorite bands album....waiting outside chatting with other hyped fans... :ahh:
going to Blockbuster Music and just browsing thru Cd's for hours...i've struck up so many convos with other ppl or vice versa just based on the cd they were holding etc...
it wasn't as bad as you think.

If you were a Dallas Cowboy or Chicago Bulls fan.. the 90's were heaven.

I wish was an adult in the 90's though.

I don't know about the late 90's because that's when things started to go down hill. The early to mid 90's was SUPREME. It will never be a decade like that again. That was truly the last greatest decade with a small mix of technology that was blended well.
