I don't like these new age terms. I just speak the truth as I see it.

If my time on the coli has taught me anything, I'll be an (insert insult) when I post something you'll disagree with tomorrow.

hahahahahhahahaaha

If you here long enough you'll get insulted regardless Doesn't take away from the truth

The fact is this...NO MORE FREE LUNCH

NO BLACK AGENDA NO VOTE!!!

were at risk of becoming a permanent underclass. It's now or never.... were a boxer in the 12th round mustering up the energy for 1 great knock out punch
No Black political power = No Black agenda taken seriously by politicians.

From AADOS to ADOS, you think its coincidence that "A" for "African" was discarded by YC?

There've been several acronyms.

For most of the time it was just DOS until non-black Americans kept asserting "they were slaves too" as if they didn't understand the intended audience. I sensed 'African' was left out because ados sounded better than aados...but Yvette has some forlorn notion that black America is some southern influnced pre 70s culture. That Black America is over. Afrocentrism and black immigration happened which reshaped cities, culture and the lineage of many younger black Americans who are now part non-ados.

Whatever rift she had with BTR and the pan African socialists she used to roll with seems to have embittered her against non-ados in some way (beyond just data) despite her numerous acknowledgment of allies. It still doesn't change the fact that there's a critique of black immigrants to be had which is the SAME critique she's had for years against any black american negro (ados) with more than two cents in their pocket--so I don't trip on this supposed xenophobia, when it's actually consistent with the same energy/heat she's been giving her own tribe for years.

#ADOS is just exposing, among other things, just how tribal everyone else is, especially when it comes to their ability to earn money in the country that stole our labor.

Most of my fam who got degrees went into IT, law, nursing and government and most of us went to Claflin and SC State since those HBCUs are in the fam's hometown.:yeshrug:

A few others went to PWI's to get their STEM degrees and networked with NSBE to get where they at.

I mean, its just realistic though. There are much easier fields where you can get your bag much sooner and less headache. You already in the hole finanancially for 8 plus years, minus intrest. You already starting in a grave as a rookie doctor imo

If that's how you feel then fine but then you can't turn around and complain there are no black male doctors.

Plus if you're going into medicine strictly for the money then you probably don't need to be there anyway.

how willl that check help anything other than to buy some shyt.. how does it help your kids?
you do understand the concept of
buying stocks
buying land
starting a business
buying a home
buying assets that dont depreciate

and being able to pass that down to your kids right?

now multiple that x the 35 million ados that will also get a check..

the black communities we could build
the politicians we could influence
the black excellence that can be had
is that a serious question bra :why: we have been robbed of those basic things for CENTURIES in America.

Respect this response.

You know the line "you don't have to lie to kick it". That's how I view some of the comments and stances she's taken. She's an intelligent woman she HAS to know when she's lying and misrepresenting things to fit her stances.

I'm not sure if you've ever read an old article she wrote for Huff. Post.

Low Black Male Graduation Rates Indicate a Failure in Faith, Not Circumstances | HuffPost

She has done a complete 180 since what she wrote here . It is such a drastic change of stances that it appears to have grown out of disillusionment and that it comes from a place of anger. Her anti non AA views seem to come from the same place

Which is why I am steadfast on her ass. She did a 180 and got these nikkas eating it up because simply, it's easy as hell to hate and blame others.
