Most guys that people say were already on their way out, including Ja.

Ja went from 3x and peaking #1 to 1x and peaking #4 before the beef. Then went to gold and peaking at #6 during then gold and #7 after.

Had top 5 hits before and after.

It was great timing.

Ja’s main fans that made him go 3x were not exactly people who gave two fukks about what 50 cent said in some beef documentary.

It’s almost like saying anyone that dissed 50 after 05, killed him cause he fell off.

If you can make people look at you like you're corny then it's a wrap and I don't think there is any coming back from that. Ja Rule could come out and drop a Me Against The World caliber album tomorrow and nobody would listen and clown him.

Prodigy lost a lot of cred after the takeover

He took an L but he was aight afterwards. 90's P maybe would have put up a better fight and I don't think his heart was really in it but at least he sent shots back on Infamy even if Jay got him. At least he didn't bytch out like Cole. Plus Mobb still had hits afterwards and signed to G-Unit. Also Return of the Mac was fire.

The Lupe/Mickey Factz beef seemed to completely shake Royce's persona and he ain't dropped a proper album since.

THIS is the correct answer.

Lupe needs to do a video with Ashanti shaking ass in the background, Irv Gotti cheesing like 6 year old at Chuck E. Cheese and open up his verse with “Ask that other rapper how it feels to lose his whole gangsta.”

Sorry bro, I’m from Atlanta and this is not true. It had absolutely nothing to do with TI song. TI a rapper and Lo a street legend. Nobody disrespected him cuz of TI. In fact people thought it exposed TI and he lost. Didn’t even matter what song was better at that point. when he shot that video in front of Bankhead, people was talking about how much security he had with him. So Lo had everybody looking at TI as a fake gangster for the first time. Atlanta never looked at TI the same. That’s not a L. Shawty just wasn’t coming out with good new music

Nobody cared about anybof what you're talking about. Shawty Lo being a street legend is irrelevant. Musically, he was done. Lo never again reached the momentum he had with Units In The City and a lot of the respect is revisionist because people found out after the fact. Nobody cared about the security in real time, but everybody was clowning talking about T.I. shot the video in Lo's hood and imitated the dance from "Dey Know". And yes, it was people clowning Lo because of T.I.

T.I. was still huge after that beef. The only thing that stopped T.I. was him going to jail AGAIN in 2010.

This.

Also wanted to say, its silly when people use the "T.I. had security" excuse against him in regard to shooting the "What's Up, What's Happenin" video in Bowen Homes. It was a video shoot of course there was going to be security. People act like he came there to actually have a shootout with Lo or there to actually fight.
